Product Description

Air-conditioning units equipped with high-efficiency air filters for use in cleanroom applications. The inner surfaces and internal components of the purified air-conditioning units shall be made of materials or coated with surface layers that are resistant to corrosion by disinfectants; the material surfaces must be smooth. The internal structure should facilitate easy cleaning and allow for smooth discharge of cleaning wastewater, while minimizing dust accumulation and bacterial growth. The condensate outlet of the cooling coil should be fitted with a device that automatically prevents backflow and ensures smooth drainage of condensate even under negative pressure conditions. During dehumidification operation, water should be discharged within 3 minutes of system startup. Condensate pipes must not be directly connected to the sewer system. Differential pressure gauges should be installed upstream and downstream of each stage of air filters, and the connecting pipelines must remain unobstructed and tightly sealed. Water-spray-type air processors should not be used. When using surface coolers, the air velocity across the cross-section of the coil should not exceed 2 m/s. Humidifiers used in air-conditioning units should preferably be dry-steam humidifiers, and no water droplets should appear during the humidification process. The humidifier must meet drinking water hygiene standards. The humidifier’s materials should be corrosion-resistant and easy to clean and inspect. There should be sufficient distance between the humidification equipment and the subsequent air-conditioning equipment to ensure complete vaporization of the steam. For Class I and Class II cleanrooms, the relative humidity of the air within the system prior to the high-efficiency filter in the purified air-conditioning system should not exceed 75%. The enclosure of the air-conditioning unit must be reliably sealed. When maintaining a static pressure of 1000 Pa inside the unit, for systems with cleanliness levels equal to or higher than Class 1000, the enclosure’s leakage rate should not exceed 1%; for systems with cleanliness levels below Class 1000, the enclosure’s leakage rate should not exceed 2%.
