Product Description

A packaged air conditioning unit is an air-handling device assembled from various air-processing functional sections. It is suitable for air-conditioning systems with resistance exceeding 100 Pa. The unit’s air-processing functional sections include: air mixing, airflow distribution, filtration, cooling, primary and secondary heating, dehumidification, humidification, supply fan, return fan, water spray, noise reduction, heat recovery, and other modular components. Packaged air conditioning units are available in 30 specifications ranging from 3,500 m³/h to 200,000 m³/h, offering users the flexibility to freely select and combine among 12 different functional sections. These units are primarily used in air purification systems for various cleanrooms, such as industrial electronics plants, precision machinery manufacturing facilities, textile workshops, automotive painting booths, GMP pharmaceutical plants, cosmetics factories, food processing plants, purified water production facilities, hospital operating rooms, ICUs, and many other applications. Classified by structural type, they can be divided into horizontal, vertical, and ceiling-mounted models; classified by application characteristics, they can be categorized into general-purpose units, fresh-air units, purification units, and specialized units (such as rooftop units, subway units, and computer room-specific units, etc.). They can also be classified by specification, with the basic specifications of the units typically indicated by their rated airflow capacity. The configuration of functional sections in purification units must be determined based on the specific production processes or cleanroom requirements—this is a fundamental principle. The integration and selection of purification unit functional sections are closely linked to the design of the air-conditioned space. It is essential to control microbial contamination points within the purification unit, as its structure and temperature and humidity conditions provide ideal environments for the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms. Therefore, the unit’s casing, filters, silencers, humidifiers, and other components can become potential sources of microbial contamination and must be rigorously controlled. For instance, the unit casing should be free from damage, rust, and corrosion, resistant to disinfection, thermally insulated, and highly sealed; antimicrobial materials already widely used in refrigerators can be employed for this purpose. Filter performance must meet specified standards; silencers and humidifiers should not trap suspicious substances; and the interior of the unit should be regularly cleaned or disinfected.
