Metro Fan—The axial flow fans for metro tunnels are available in two models: one equipped with silencers and the other without, both featuring inlet and outlet diffusers (or distributors). Depending on user requirements, these fans can be fitted with speed-regulating motors. The fan housing, diffusers (or distributors), silencers, and support feet are fabricated using CNC automatic welding and mechanical forming from steel plates. The exterior surfaces undergo hot-dip galvanization or sandblasting followed by application of a high-temperature-resistant coating capable of withstanding temperatures up to 500°C, ensuring the fan’s strength and corrosion resistance to meet the ventilation needs of tunnels.

Fans of the SDS series allow for adjustable blade numbers and blade angles. The length of the double-ended tubular silencers typically equals the fan’s diameter; however, when noise reduction requirements are particularly stringent, the silencer length may be set at twice the fan diameter. The silencers are directly connected to the fans via bolts.
